Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs and Services in Brockton, MA

There isn’t a single type of addiction treatment. Instead, recovery usually happens along a continuum of care. At Massachusetts Center for Addiction, we offer a range of options that include partial hospitalization programs. Intensive outpatient treatment, and traditional outpatient treatment, along with programs designed to support continued recovery.

If you’re unsure of where to begin your search for an addiction treatment center in Brockton, MA, that meets your needs, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) offers an online directory, as well as a national helpline that can be reached at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).

Massachusetts Center for Addiction does not offer drug detox or inpatient addiction treatment. However, if you need these services, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We can assist in getting you the help you need.

Drug and Alcohol Detox

This stage of addiction recovery is one of the most challenging. Alcohol and drug detox can present with physical and mental symptoms that can range from mild to severe, and in some instances, detox can become a life-threatening event.

It’s critically important that alcohol or drug detox happens in a hospital or addiction treatment center that is equipped to offer the support and care needed.

Inpatient Addiction Treatment

Commonly referred to as residential addiction treatment, inpatient addiction treatment happens entirely in a structured, secure addiction treatment center. During inpatient treatment, there is a high level of care and structured therapies to begin the addiction recovery journey.

The duration of inpatient treatment varies depending on the individual, but these programs require complete commitment, with limited exposure to outside people and influences.

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

It might be that a person doesn’t need the continual structure and support of inpatient treatment, but hasn’t reached the point where they’re ready for outpatient treatment only. PHP rehab is an intermediary step between inpatient and outpatient addiction therapy.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

After inpatient or PHP rehab, traditional outpatient treatment is the common next step, but it’s not the best option for everyone. IOP rehab offers additional structure and support compared to outpatient addiction therapies and is highly tailored to the individual. IOP rehab generally requires a commitment of four hours, multiple days per week.

Traditional Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient addiction treatment is the least structured of addiction therapies and allows for a high level of independence and personal accountability. Different types of outpatient addiction treatment in Brockton, MA, are available to you, including both individual and group addiction therapy.

One of the best around a program that is all inclusive and truly helps understand and totally dissects the Big Book and 12 steps which is something a ton of other programs like this one do not even attempt because the staff is not educated enough on it but here they have and staff that understands and know how to break so it can be put into action in life also is a great facility beautifully put together and is very accessible either by car or public transportation so both clients can have an easy commute
