Dual Diagnosis Treatment Near Brighton, MA

The value of addressing mental health during addiction recovery can’t be overstated. Addictive behaviors often co-occur with mental health issues, and the symptoms of each can mimic the other. Undiagnosed or untreated mental health disorders can make the addiction recovery process more challenging, which is why at Massachusetts Center for Addiction, we offer dual diagnosis care that treats both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Family Therapy

For individuals struggling with addiction, their families and loved ones are often significantly affected as well. A compassionate approach to addiction treatment involves a family support program that helps to facilitate healing for everyone.

During family therapy, loved ones are offered an opportunity to discuss the addiction from their perspective, work toward healing from trauma, and begin working toward healthy and supportive relationships while honoring their own feelings and boundaries.

One of the best around a program that is all inclusive and truly helps understand and totally dissects the Big Book and 12 steps which is something a ton of other programs like this one do not even attempt because the staff is not educated enough on it but here they have and staff that understands and know how to break so it can be put into action in life also is a great facility beautifully put together and is very accessible either by car or public transportation so both clients can have an easy commute

When A Loved One Needs Addiction Treatment in Brighton, MA

Knowing that your loved one is struggling with addiction is difficult. You may be in a position of wanting to help, but you are not sure how. Resources such as the SAMHSA directory can provide you with a list of addiction treatment centers for your loved one.

It’s also important to care for yourself. Sadness, confusion, anger, mistrust, failure, and fear are just a few of the emotions that can rise to the surface when a loved one has an addiction. Setting personal boundaries and protecting yourself from trauma is important. Individual or family therapy can be beneficial for healing and helping your loved one get the help they need.

Payment Options for Alcohol and Drug Rehab

Addiction is a disease that affects individuals, families, and communities but the cost of drug or alcohol rehab is an obstacle that often prevents someone from seeking the treatment they need. There’s a fear that the financial burden of addiction treatment is too great, but it doesn’t need to be this way.

Health insurance is often the best option for covering the costs of addiction rehab. Under the Affordable Care Act, insurance providers are required to include addiction treatment in their benefit packages. The amount of coverage will vary depending on the insurance provider and the details of the coverage package.

One way to save money while using insurance to pay for drug or alcohol rehab is to choose an in-network vs out-of-network addiction center near Brighton, MA. Choosing an in-network provider will lower your total out-of-pocket costs.

Massachusetts Center for Addiction has in-network agreements with Cigna, Tricare, and Aetna and also works with most insurance companies.
