Mental health care is essential to overall well-being, yet how frequently is it overlooked or put on the back burner? It’s estimated that about a quarter of adults over the age of 18 are living with a diagnosable mental health condition.

We know mental health conditions are common, yet two-thirds of them will go undiagnosed or untreated. Our mental health rehab in Quincy understands the depth of impact that mental health issues can have. This is why we’re committed to offering comprehensive mental health programs in an environment that’s safe and secure.

The Importance of Mental Health Treatment

Mental health is the cornerstone of overall well-being. It affects how we feel about ourselves, how we engage with others, and our overall quality of life. Mental health conditions influence every area of life, from home and relationships to employment and personal satisfaction.

It’s common for people to struggle with their mental health and feel they should handle it on their own. They might not realize that frequent anxiety or depression is more than just a passing phase—it could be a sign of a diagnosable mental health condition. While it’s important to take steps to support our mental health, overcoming mental health issues usually requires the help of experienced professionals.

At the Massachusetts Center for Addiction, we believe that prioritizing mental health is crucial for the individual and that mental health conditions such as depression or bipolar disorder can lead to severe consequences when left untreated.

We are committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters healing, acceptance, and self-empowerment. Misconceptions and stigma about mental health care don’t have a place here.

Comprehensive Treatment Programs for Mental Wellbeing

The mental health rehab center at Massachusetts Center for Addiction offers a comprehensive continuum of care, with programs tailored to specific mental health disorders and patient needs. Our programs include:

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

These PHP programs offer a high level of care and support for individuals with acute mental health conditions who do not require inpatient hospitalization..

Intensive therapy sessions are offered through outpatient services, but with a schedule of up to six hours a day, five days a week. PHP is a structured treatment program with a daily schedule that also offers the flexibility to maintain a semblance of normal life in the evenings and weekends. The components of PHP may include individual and group therapy sessions, along with life skill-building opportunities, and holistic wellness activities.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

These are partial day programs that offer an important level of care for individuals struggling with various mental health conditions. IOP rehab isn’t as intensive as PHP, but it typically involves half-day treatment of up to four hours, several days a week.

This schedule allows the individual to access the treatment and support they need through individual treatment sessions and find a community of peers with group therapy. An IOP treatment plan is built using a combination of psychiatric therapy, counseling, and holistic wellness treatment.

This comprehensive approach helps individuals make significant progress in managing the symptoms of their mental health disorder while taking major steps toward their recovery goals.

Dual Diagnosis

As experienced, respected professionals in mental health and addiction care, we understand that mental health conditions often don’t exist on their own. We take care in providing full assessments and revisiting these assessments throughout treatment to ensure we’ve identified and are treating any co-occurring disorder

Having co-occurring disorders means that there is more than one condition that needs to be treated simultaneously. This might be a different mental health condition or a substance use disorder. By treating co-occurring disorders, we see improved overall outcomes and better mental health management.

Medication Management

Many mental health conditions can benefit from the use of medications to help reduce symptoms and stabilize moods. Medication is almost always more effective when used as part of a treatment plan that includes mental health therapy, and should be carefully monitored throughout treatment.

Our experienced clinical team will work with you to help you better understand the benefits and risks involved with medications, and continually assess whether your medication treatment plan continues to work effectively.

Evidence-Based Treatment

Your mental health is extremely important, and you deserve to know your treatment plan is built around evidence-based treatments that have demonstrated proven results. Massachusetts Center for Addiction offers various therapeutic modalities. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, just to name a few.

Treating Mental Health Issues Holistically

We believe that effective treating mental health requires a holistic approach. This includes addressing the psychological, emotional, and physical manifestations of mental health disorders.

We work with each person to develop a holistic treatment plan. This includes wellness activities like yoga and medication, lifestyle modifications, nutrition support, and other complementary therapies.
