Rockland Recovery Group was founded by Eddie McGrath, an alcoholic and drug addict who found recovery through the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous after many years of struggle and relapse. Rockland Recovery began with the opening of the Rockland sober house in 2017; a second house was established in Dorchester the following year. Eddie is very passionate about recovery and is committed to not only helping addicts and alcoholics in early recovery, but to also meeting the needs of their families and loved ones. He is a member of the Family Restored Council and is also the founder and primary facilitator of the Family Restored’s “Addict in the Family Meeting” in Stoneham. Eddie also works as a certified Recovery Coach.
In 2023, Eddie opened Massachusetts Center for Addiction in Weymouth, MA. This additional facility expanded his ability to help more members of the community.
